Blood donation 2

I was discharged from hospital on Monday, and eager to restart my donations. The session was running late so by the time my turn arrived I was starving - and worried that I might faint. All went well and my next appointment is also booked.

I'm trying very hard not to get stressed about seeing occupational health after my time off work. Because I was absent for more than 3 weeks, I hit a trigger and there are no exceptions. I returned to work before my fit note expired, but this is not good enough. Working in cash strapped local government is no fun. I know what my employer expects - if you are too ill or incapacitated to come to work, take holidays or unpaid leave! 
I remember a time when my employer said it's employees were it's best assets! Ha!
