Balange

My friend and colleague Ms Motts being Nepalese has beautiful thick, shiny long black hair but has been thinking for ages to get something called Balange (I think but not sure of the name) an effect of having colour graduating upwards but not all over. She wanted to see it from the back so I took this picture. I like it, but when she met her mum at the airport last Friday arriving back from Katmandu she looked aghast and asked what she had done to her hair!!

She actually could have it all shaved off and still look beautiful !
