Tubing

Tubing in Vang Vieng has been around for many years but is a lot more controlled today than its prime time in 2010. With only 2 bars along the river open we spent a couple of hours meeting people and drinking beers at the first bar before we floated 100m down the river to the next bar. This bar welcomed us with a mud pit which proved very popular with a lot of drunk backpackers. We spent the late afternoon floating down the river, merry on our tubes until local tuk tuk drivers took us back to town. Such a fun day with lots of laughs and new friends.
