The Don's Birthplace

We arrived in Cootamundra this afternoon and lucky for us the Historic cottage where Sir Don Bradman was born was open for visitors. Now I have to confess, I'm a bit of a sports nut and for me it was a real thrill. The room that CCN is standing in is the actual room where he was born.

I have added a couple of images, one which you may find quite amusing. Many Australians consider Don Bradman to be our greatest sportsman ever. I have my own thoughts on this and would like to throw the squash superstar Heather Mackay into the mix. I might have just started something here!!!!!
