Swimming Sports today

This was my tenth Murchison swimming sports.  And the first time we've had cooler weather for it - whew, what a relief.  Our pool is full covered and most years it's like an oven in there by mid-day, but today it was almost pleasant.

Our kids are amazing.  Many of them entered in every race they could, and even the less keen swimmers put in an effort to participate.  It really has been a great day, with yet more school records broken.  These kids just keep getting faster and faster!

I don't like to blip the students without their permission, so today's photo is deliberately chosen to show speed and effort, without showing who the student actually is.

A great day today, one where I was proud of every participant, thankful for every parent supporter who came to watch, and totally grateful for the effort our staff put in.  It's a massive day for them.  Many of us hadn't had time to eat or sit from 8.45 a.m. until 3.00 p.m.  They are stars.
