Ah, the summer holidays! No swimming lessons, haircuts can be done mid week and it all adds up to a nice quiet Saturday. The weather was actually pretty good today too so I decided to do some work out in the garden: the big pile of gravel that's been temporarily sitting in the back garden for the last two years has now been partially moved (whoop!) and I'm getting around to marking up the slabs for cutting to fill the holes that have been there for about the same amount of time.

It wasn't all work: +1/2 made some amazing brownies today which I think are nearly all gone now and +1/3 and I had a game a top trumps in the boy cave/play house/tree house.

+2/3's footwear choice for garden work was perhaps slightly inappropriate.
