Timing

A three hour round trip into Edinburgh this afternoon for an appointment that lasted ten minutes. It only happens every two years so I suppose I shouldn't complain. It was also an opportunity for me to meet up with our visitors from Oz once again – but this time accompanied by the new addition to their family. The wee man is four months old and looks just like his dad, especially in the way his face lights up when the pints arrive on the table.
