Busy Enjoying Ourselves

We met Emma for coffee this morning; Henley Street was thronged but we managed to squeeze into Nero and had a good natter.

The weather was good enough to eat lunch outside in the garden; this is an unusual event at the moment, it being the middle of summer; but it didn't last.

Even though we were entertaining this evening we popped out with Dylan for a walk by the river this afternoon (the advantage of advance preparation). I took some candid shots on the Bancroft; these two pics took my fancy. I'm not sure if either of the book readers is reading E L James Fifty Shades of Grey, apparently the highest selling book after Harry Potter, but what was nice was the fact that they were all reading real books, not as the adverts would have us believe, Kindle devices. So the book is not yet dead.

This evening our friends Nicola and Stewart came round for an evening of dinner, drinks and socialising - a good time was had by all.
