Forsythia

I took all sorts of shots of this before I could decide. These bushes tend to be very woody, at least ours does, and look best just as a mass of yellow, in the distance. It was hard to get a close up because of the wind. But this will do. We have plenty of daffodils in bud, so hopefully more yellow is on the way. There seems to be a preponderance of yellow in the first spring flowers and blues and pinks seem to follow on during the late spring and summer.
