Country Fair

Just about the time we crossed the Equator back into the Northern Hemisphere this afternoon, the ship's crew put on a very entertaining "Country Fair" out on the pool deck.  Each of the different departments hosted a booth with various amusing activities, and at the end of the event the passengers voted on which was the most fun.  The Housekeeping Department won!

This is a collage showing some of our favourite crew members -- Captain Serena Melani (top right), two wonderful bar keepers, Heru and Gusti (bottom right), Jamie who works in the restaurants (middle), Malcolm who is everywhere doing everything all the time (top right), and Gaby from Destination Services (bottom right).  I can't say enough wonderful things about all the people who work so hard to make our voyage as wonderful as it can be.  Without exception they are unfailingly cheerful, kind, thoughtful, and helpful, and they put in very long days without any days off for months at a time.
