paddlers

Having done the shopping and the laundry there was time for a blip walk before starting the cooking. 

Through the park and over Miller Bridge (now repaired and open after the December floods), then along the R. Rothay.  As I approached the footbridge these canoeists were paddling upstream. Managed to get on top of the bridge and take a few shots  before they disappeared around the next corner. 

Not the prettiest of photos with all the flood debris still stuck on branches but it gives an indication of how high the water got.
