Pond Delight
The Blue Flag Iris Iris virginica in our pond have begun to flower. They are native to Florida and are found in boggy areas where water stands all year long. The bright orange shape in this photo is a goldfish/comet? The fish is approx 10-12 inches long and is the only fish in our pond that isn't native to the area. Given it's bright coloring, it's a good thing that it has lots of places to hide from predators.
