A to B

After a spell of on/off, the broadband seems fully restored and stable.   I had nipped down town and there were a couple of BT engineers buried deep into a box, so I stopped and asked how it was going.    The word then was that there were 600 customers affected, and "it wasn't looking good."   However, that must have been institutional pessimism because soon afterwards things began to restore.

Today, a quick trip down to Ilkley to see the grandboys and back briefly to head for Madeira, ma dear....

Doubt whether there will be any further comments today - but normal service will be restored also in this regard tomorrow.   

Oh, did I mention I have a stinker of a cold!
