Bourtange

Yep it's a windmill but look its got a cannon too. This windmill was at Bourtange which is a reconstructed 18th century fortified town with star shaped moats. Yet another pretty place and rather tastefully done too. Thom stormed about the place pretending he was defending it from evil attackers.
As we were near the German border we went and checked out Papenburg in the afternoon as well.
