Adverse Weather

On my way back from Dubai to parents day at Calum's school, I received a text message and email to say the school was closing due to adverse weather. K called to say there were thunder storms in the capital and everywhere was flooded (half of London's monthly rain fell in a couple of hours). By the time I got there the sun was out again.

Had to laugh at the email from the rugby coach:
"Rugby game for U14s v Al Bateen at the Gnoll is cancelled due to a water-logged pitch, NOT simply because there was some rain."
