Beach Bar.....

.....on the Esplanade with expansive sea views, open decks and casual stylish food, situated in Sumner, Christchurch.

We found ourselves between appointments after visiting R and decided dining beside the sea sounded rather pleasant on this autumnal day. The setting was beautiful, the sea was a long way away being the start to extra high tides and very low, low tides and the food was delicious! I've added a couple of extras for my café series.

E woke very sore in the early hours of the morning, so it was back to the dentist today. All looking as should be but a slight infection was just starting up, we'll quickly nip that in the bud.

Mum has had R's daughters to stay and is feeling very tired and drained, so no blip from her today but says she'll be back soon. R was not to bad today, very tired looking, was very vague about his daughters visiting and quite muddled with his words, otherwise reasonably cheerful.

Hubby and I thank you all for your Anniversary wishes, we were both very touched and enjoyed the many stars and hearts, so kind and thoughtful, thank you :)

The morning was overcast and crisp as rain had fallen during the night but soon made way to a sunny day with a light sea breeze.
