He doesn't move very quickly but keeps at it, so we probably managed a couple of miles by going up and down and found every cul-de-sac. There was a long wait to watch bikes going across the bridge and people accumulating at the bus stop, after which we went past the drips and puddles which had still been a dusting of icy snow on the way past earlier.
