I would like to dedicate this to Gary Braasch, a nature photographer from Portland dedicated to documenting climate change. He died Monday on the Great Barrier Reef while snorkeling.

And in other news, incredible photography can be seen in the climbing documentary Meru. Three men against incredible odds had to try twice to attain the first ascent of this 20,000 foot peak, in the headwaters of the Ganges.
