Senlac Hill
It was here that a little contest took place in 1066. You could say it was England's first foray into European competition. Along with the clash against Norway earlier in the week it formed what could be described as an overcrowded fixture list. England's cause wasn't helped when their captain was carried off with what looked like a serious, career ending injury. Perhaps a more defensive formation would've helped the over stretched English. Not that we're looking for excuses!
