Jagged little seed capsule

For TinyTuesday hosted by Lizellen (with thanks to her) a macro of a Nigella Damascena/Love-In-A-Mist seed capsule. I need something with 'jagged' for the weekly alphabet challenge on Flickr, could I call those spiky bits 'jagged'?
