You can always be sure of a welcome at Valerie and Graham's house - even if they are right in the middle of their evening meal.

They insisted that they were inbetween courses and there was no problem. They gave us each a large glass of red and we had a long chat. We had a lot to catch up on because we hadn't seen them for a while. This beautiful sculptured head by George Wagstaffe of Coventry is on the window sill of their lounge.

We eventually left them to finish their meal. Thanks you two - it was great to see you both ...............................
