Time For Fishing

After Church this morning I went to pick up Dolly from the dogsitters. It was a beautifully sunny day although there were plenty of big clouds around. On the way home I decided to take her for a brief walk along the River Thames just east of Reading. It's been awhile since we've been to the river and along this stretch there are large open meadows, good for both dog meeting and people watching, even on what still felt like a bitterly cold day. We met other dogs (some of whom were swimming! Brr!!), runners, people flying remote controlled planes, and a couple of fishermen. It was a beautiful spot but I can't say that fishing on such a cold day appeals!!
