Street ....

..... or to be more precise, Cross Street, Manchester.

One of the city's busier thoroughfares. 

Or it was. But the "second city crossing", which is essentially driving another metro link route across the city centre to enable an expanding system across Greater Manchester to work, is under construction. We've all got to put up with another year or so of mayhem, but (through gritted teeth) it will be worth it. 

Accessibility is key to a successful centre. Short term pain for long term gain. 

Extra - Chapel Street, Salford. Also undergoing regeneration big-time. A fine Street on its northern side, the southern side will be seeing new development knitting it all back together again. Streets are places that just keep on changing.
