Diamonds on the water....

An absolutely glorious day here...warm and bright! 

Had a very poor sleep last night...who knows why, it's not as if i have much to worry about, i don't!!!   anyway, has left me feeling very dopey and lacking in energy.  But i dragged myself down to the pool and swam for 1/2 hour which was blissful...as was the hot tub, but i worried i might fall asleep in there!

Our visit to the new Thai restaurant last night was delightful, the food was wonderful and they had only been open 2 days - one of the young owners had a chat with us...he was lovely, and told us that on the first day it got so chaotic they had to close for 2 hours mid way thro the day to gather themselves!  I thought that was such a brave and smart thing to do on your opening day!   We'll definitely go back.
