MonoMonday.......The Street

"The Street" I have chosen for today's mono Monday theme is in a conservation area of the town,  some of the cottages there date from the 17th century.  On July 10th 1968, weather conditions were extreme, culminating in severe flooding to the Somerset area, and in particular to this street, reaching a height of between 10ft-14ft.
There is a small commemorative plaque (see extra) above the window of the middle house on the left to mark the height of the water. Also, I have added an extra of a photo taken in the aftermath of the flood.
