Galleria

Today we all went to the Galleria--a large mall in Houston--to walk around & do some shopping. They have an ice skating rink in part of it, & it was fun to watch the skaters. Brought back memories, as when my brothers & I were growing up, my parents would drop us all off at the frozen lagoon in the park & wouldn't come back for us for 6 or 7 hours! The ice was always packed with kids, & you'd invariably run into your friends there! They also had a pavillion right off the ice that always had a roaring fire going, so when we'd get too cold we'd go sit in front of the fire--we'd each get 50 cents for a hot dog and soda--those were the days!! :))
