End of the Line
Mum and I took a trip out today to Ashford to try out the facilities of a different garden centre. We had a wonderful time eating very sticky and unhealthy caramel shortbread with coffee (no lunch for us today!) before pottering round picking up plants and planters, books and new kitchen gadgets - well I did owe her a Mothering Day present, and she loves treating me!
We took the long way home via Tenterden and I took a wander round the station with my camera. I'd hoped for some steam train shots, but there were only 2 services today, and neither was due. However, as I headed back to the car, the staff seemed to wake up and "get busy", and there was a toot in the distance. A few minutes later the "Pulman" service drew into the station after its round trip giving its lucky passengers, who no doubt inclded some deserving Mums, a silver service lunch.
