Wheale Betsy
Went to Okehampton today to collect Karen's electric bike. Travelled over part of Dartmoor on the way back and stopped to take this pic of Wheal Betsy which is the last standing engine house on Dartmoor. In the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries this area was very important as a mining centre. The mines yielded tin, lead, zinc and silver.
