Birthday Boy!

Today is Solomon's FIRST birthday!! What a treat to have watched him grow, he really is a bitesize-blessing. We had lunch with these 3 then later quite a few of their friends joined us for Cava & cake - a lovely day celebrating a wonderful kid. 
Asha took the celebrations VERY seriously and donned her best party outfit...dread to think how much sugar she's consumed today....

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The privilege it is to be part of Sol's life.
2) How well Asha played with one of the other mini party-goers...especially when the other little one kept snatching stuff off her. Was impressed by Asha's restraint & graciousness!
3) Catching up with some people today who I've not seen all winter. 

On a complete aside, we brought Asha home from hospital on Mother's Day! It was the best & most terrifying gift I could have been given...almost 5 years ago!!
