Mothering Sunday and look ......

....... who flew in from Greece ? Just as the posies were been given out in church this morning someone sat on the seat next to my daughter threw his arms around her and said as he gave her her daff's " I love you mum " , what a great surprise for her ( and me of course ) . Such a lovely son/ grandson he had a 4am flight from Greece just managed to get into church for the last hymn! That was so appropriate for him too ( One more step along the road I go, from the old into the new. )
I've had such a great day, at 9 am I had a phone call from my daughter in Newcastle to wish me happy mothers day , then I went to church where my other daughter was ( she had come up to me instead of going to her church, then she hurried back to carry out a duty at her church) such a lovely thoughtful girl. I'm one very lucky mum, when I got home there was a box in the porch with a super bouquet of roses from " up north " . " A " arrived we had a cuppa and then went to KJD and the Rev's for a nice lunch and general family time with the with grandsons/daughter and grandparents. I was also given a Jasmine plant and lovely cards, such great words. How can I thank you all so much , I'm so proud to have such wonderful daughters and family .
Grateful thanks to all who made my day so memorable xx

Happy .... to have the honour of such thoughtful family
