A peaceful Stromness morning

Stromness nestles below Brinkie’s Brae in some early March sunshine.  After our walk around the town M invited us in for soup.  Went in past to see my mother and arranged to see her again tomorrow and take her out for a meal later in the week.  CMC (and her mother) are fair excited because it is now official that her sister has bought a house in Houton.  She has been away from Orkney for far too long.  They will only be 2.5 miles away.  I’ve just had to go to Google and check out ‘meat in sandwich syndrome’.
