Sunrise, Pelsall Junction

A great start to the day, with plenty of clouds to create interest but clear at the horizon to the east to allow the sun's light to illuminate the area.  Popped out early and was not disappointed.  I've even added an extra as the low sun lit the trees with an inky cloud laden backdrop.

Many thanks for all of your kind words yesterday.  I was somewhat melancholy last night about Mum and unfortunately the visit today was less than reassuring as she was only awake for a few minutes.  I spoke to the nurse to find out Mum had been awake much of the night with a nose bleed, that despite having medication to help her sleep.  Perhaps that was why she was so drowsy this morning.
