Siberian Bugloss
Thursday was a long day - much writing and a rather protracted evening meeting, so no photographs were taken. However, the good news for the day was that Lizzy has secured her first teaching post at a nearby school that she really likes.
Today has been a mix of stress and relaxation. After dropping Ben in Stamford, Pete and I went on to Rassel's Nursery to find a suitable Mother's Day gift for his Mum - we may also have stopped for a cheeky coffee and cheese scone. We then we headed on to do a little plant recording at Witham-on-the-Hill where we found this Siberian Bugloss Brunnera macrophylla, naturalised under a hedge.
After a somewhat stressful afternoon, it was very welcome to walk down to the Fox and Hounds for an excellent pub meal - an early start to Mother's Day and a celebration of Lizzy's success.
