Moorhen

Went for a walk with my youngest this afternoon; just 4.4km, up the lake, round the top of the park and back by the little lake. The daffodils are just starting to come out - but unfortunately most of those which had bloomed had been picked, and many left lying around, which is frustrating.  Managed to get some decent shots of the birds - including this Moorhen shot, which I'm really pleased with.
