The Source BMX

This is the incredible new facility on Hastings seafront for boarding, BMX and skating. It truly is a state of the art set up and just brilliant for the kids who are interested in this sport. It's the largest subterranean skate park in the world. There's an excellent café and well-stocked shop. There's even a gallery of skateboard art, where local artists have put their work on boards which are displayed down one wall. Extra pic shows Louisa's piece. This place used to be a swimming pool, Turkish baths and skating rink (not at the same time!) and has stood empty for years. It's great to see it being put to such good use again.
