Eddie the eagle?

Another piece of corporate art. It's a wooden eagle that came of some building and was salvaged and ended up at our head-office.The note that goes with it says very little is known about where it was carved or who made it.

After work we went shopping. The original plan was to go to an outlet mall in New York, so I checked out the place and identified the possible shops Id be interested in: Columbia Sportswear, The North Face and Levis. At the last minute they changed to another mall in New Jersey, which had less to chose from, but did have an REI in. The taxi trip there and back was interesting but the shopping and food was better than expected. The REI had less in than the New York store but had more bargains - so I got a very nice Tilley winter hat at a very good price. The restaurant was also a lot better than the previous night and there was also an option for normal (described as lighter) sized portions.

Tomorrow will be my last day.
