A Blip on a Stick

- I found this praying mantis in a bush this morning. Popped a couple of shots off and the mantis blended in too much with the green leaves. So I found a stick and let this little guy climb aboard. Then held it as far from the camera as I could and this is the end result.

I learned today that these wonderful little creatures are distant cousins to cockroaches and termites...
