Making a splash

Ruby was off with her pals for the day and Mrs Smith decided that she was going to redecorate the bathroom so I decided to do my bit by getting out of the way and taking the twins with me.

We went swimming, ate crisps, looked in rock pools, watched local boys jumping into the harbour and then checked out the new wake boarding lake that opened a week ago. The kids are booked in for next week so there are bound to be plenty of wake boarding/face planting blip opportunities.

Just put some pork and apple sausages in the oven coated in wholegrain mustard and maple syrup so better get on with that and open a bottle of wine to revive Mrs Smith.
