Brown Leaf Heart

I found this wonderful heart shaped  brown leaf encased in an piece of log adorned with yellows and greens.  I love finding heart shapes in stones and other natural wonders while I'm out exploring with my camera.  I had intended originally to take some landscapes with my larger Nikon and had it all set up on the tripod...then realized when I turned it on....no card in it!  Beginners error?  Senior moment...who knows but I fortunately had my trusty sony and proceeded with other shots.  If I'd been on the ball I would have just used the card from the sony and put it into the Nikon...but my brain wasn't quite working coherently.  C'est la vie:)
     In the wee hours tomorrow Big R is flying back to his hometown of Ellwood City , Pa. to visit his ailing Dad in the hospital and assess the family situation back there.  His mom is 90 and his Dad is 92...she has tried to care for him up to this time.  Both adamently resist going into assisted living ...now there is a crisis and we hope something can be sorted out.  It's a very hard situation and trying times for them both.  We continually worry what will happen next to them in their current living situation.  His Dad has mulitple things wrong now so it will be a difficult trip...we shall see.  
    This heart is for you "pops' as we affectionatly call R's dad...We hope he heals and that his mom, the main caretaker, can get some relief.
