Horses D’Ouvers.
Today was a day for standing on cold and draughty street corners for three hours telling cyclists where to go; it was our cycle club’s three-up time trial. At least I was allowed a hot cup of tea at the end of it. We were actually very fortunate, the weather forecast was for wall-to-wall rain from midnight until late afternoon.
The extra is of (I think) the winning team; normally, they should be riding in line but, this section is uphill with a tail wind so there is little advantage gained by being in a slipstream.
Standing on the same street corner as myself was this pile of rusty horse-shoes. I wonder if someone has forgotten where they put them.
Derelict Sunday is hosted by TMLHereAndThere this week.
