It's Snow Joke!

We took the dogs down to the beach and had the place completely to ourselves.

The tide was well out, which enabled us to walk around to a bay that is not always accessible but I was wary that we might get cut off, so kept looking back, to check. The rock face had amazing vibrant colours, so I thought a quick photo would be good but in the short time that it took to get two pictures, the tide had reached the rocks and had cut us off!
There was nothing for it but to scramble up and over the rocks or get very wet feet, so over the rocks we climbed. It just shows how easy it is to get into trouble.

We spent the rest of the day watching snow storms come in from across the bay and in between each one, the sun shone making out like it was Summer :)

Thank you all so very much for the wonderful comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's Blip of Eilean Donan Castle. We've had a fantastic first week in the Highlands. Fingers crossed for some more photographic weather.
