Too Darn Hot!

The hot summer sun seems to have stolen all the colour and makes everything look washed out and over- exposed, so it's difficult to get any good snaps in the afternoon, when this was taken.

Having said that, I really think the chair in the foreground of this picture has one of the best views in Symi. From here you can watch life going on in Yialos, hear the music from the bars and voices from the yachts that are moored all around the harbour, drifting up on the hot summer air. Sometime I hope to be passing this house when someone is inside so that I can ask to have a look from the terrace itself rather than having to peer in through the railings.
