Nice to get some Bowie in here again. It's not for any deep and meaningful reason, it's just that the lyric struck while I was standing in the rain taking photos to satisfy the yawning maw of the Bliposphere :-)

Yes more rain and I think there is a warning in place but as it's not one of the 16 web-safe colours I don't recognise it. Sadly the weather is taking a toll. It's the county show this weekend and both yesterday and today they've had to shut the car parks. Unfortunately the county show ground isn't accessible by public transport and while they are running a shuttle bus from town visitor numbers will be down. Down at the University of Sussex at Falmer the first week of Open University residential schools starts today and for the next four weeks groups of science students will be enjoying field trips to Birling Gap - some of the shine is removed if the wind is bring in the rain horizontally. I'll be working at that resi school from next Saturday but won't be going to Birling Gap (unless the sun is out when I pop down for an ice cream).

Anyways - probably time to light the fire and crack a cold one. I hope the world is treating everyone well. Salut!
