Spring Robin

Lots of birds on the feeders today. Spent some time trying to get dood captures of Godlfinches, Greenfinches and Bullfinches. Then along came this Robin. Just picking up what he could from under the front garden feeder.

Just like Thursday's swan I couldn't resist him. You can see some of the spring flowers here too and the daffodils are nearly there. You might also notice the nettles starting to grow. This area borders the fence at the bottom of next door's garden to,the side of our house, so we allow a little wildness for the butterflies etc.

Spent the rest of the morning at a Fair trade event in our neighbouring village church ( It's Fair trade fortnight). Absolutely loved the new striped crockery but I couldn't justify buying any more teapots.
