Star of the Day

Well it really is becoming a pround parent week.

Today when collecting Mckenzie from nursery I noticed a wee bit of paper with her name on it which as you can see from the blip is her 'Star of the Day' certificate. When asked how she came to receive such an award (she never seems to be a star at home!) she decided that she didn't know so off I went to find Mrs Park to shed some light. Apparently they give these out when kids that are maybe struggling to settle, etc have done something really nice but I was told that Mckenzie is always so good at nursery that they sometimes forget about her when it come to this award but she has been quite quiet recently (really not normal!) so they thought they would reward her constant goodness with 'Star of the Day' to cheer her up.

I can safely say that it has worked as she has been wandering about with it all afternoon and has left messages with Daddy & Grams to let them know all about it. I'm just now hoping that the quietness at nursery isn't a result of the baby bump or the fact that she may have overheard talk that she might not get into her school (another story completely - bloody stupid council!!!!!) we'll just need to see, but happy today anyway x
