albufeira

beth was itching to spend her euros so four of us got the minibus into albufeira today...the shops are so full of tat it's unbelievable, but there's the odd nice one.

after four hours of ambling round in 33 degree heat, we got back and went straight to the beach to meet everyone else and straight into the sea to cool off. we did see some lizards while waiting for the bus back though...and one of their tails wriggling about on the floor. we were taking lots of photos of them...and the locals clearly thought we were mental.

pool news! the pool is now closed...the tests on the pool water must have come back. they haven't drained it though and they keep putting white powder into it which looks a bit dodgy.
