I really like hens, when l was a kid l had two which l used to cart about in an old pram.
Today l went with my friend J, to Kerikeri, we went down to the old stone store there and later out to the Marsden winery for lunch. As we were leaving we ran into S, my friend who lives there, a lovely chance to say hello again.
I spied this particularly fine hen down by the old stone store.
