Bean-boozled

We've had a day. Puppy spent last night vomiting again and therefore we spent our night on our knees scrubbing the carpet instead of sleeping. On taking him to the vet this morning he was kept in for xrays that showed a blockage in his small intestine. He had emergency surgery this afternoon where they removed a large portion of bowel that was gangrenous after being twisted by a plastic bread tag. Those who know us will know a previous puppy we had did the same thing with a sock and died. So all in all an awful day of deja vu for us.

To lighten the mood we played a game of Bean-boozled, a delightfully disgusting game we received from America. Think Bertie Betts every flavor beans in a spin and 'win' game. There was no winning but it was fun looking at the facial expressions. This is Lauren looking frightfully concerned about whatever she had just spat from her mouth. Not the best focus but I love her expression. We ended the game when Caitlin began genuinely crying when it got to her turn. And those who know Caitlin know she doesn't cry easily.
