Gleaming

So the difficulty here is that SHE wanted to get a picture of me with my newly brushed coat, and I wasn't having any of it.

We have started a new tradition.  Every evening, I sit on her lap, and she gives me a brushing. 

We both find it very calming and I like it a lot.

A side benefit is that my coat looks as black as coal, and shines like jet.  Problem is getting a picture of that.

So I said - all it needs is perseverance.  But SHE said, I ain't got time to muck around - it is what it is.

And she was right.
