Pancakes

It's amazing the little things that stick in my memory. Mummy made me special pancakes for Shrove Tuesday. They had strawberries, cream and in the shape of a cat. I loved them. So much so I had two! This week I have been making special crafts for Mother's Day on Sunday. Both at playgroup & nursery I have said mummy is special as she makes me pancakes. Mummy says she will always make time to do these small things as they stick in my memory.

Today I have had a great day. Mummy and I finished our Mother's Day crafts for my playgroup & nursery teachers. We made special bags on mummy's new sewing machine - not bad since she hasn't been near one in over 20 years. We then measures out bath salts and tied a bow around it. They looked lovely. My playgroup teachers were very touched. I got a big hug from them both, the other teachers will get theirs on Monday. My nursery teachers were both surprised too, again though two were off so I will need to give them their gift next week.

Tonight I am staying at my Grandmas. I love staying. The whole drive over I was so excited, singing songs and laughing. When we arrived, I jumped out the car and shouted up to grandmas window to tell her I had arrived and I was staying the night.

Mummy is home alone with baby Zara. Daddy is nightshift, so mummy will have a busy night. Dinner, bath and bed for both herself and Zara.
